“My work is a response to my surroundings. The Sussex coastline with its port, harbour and beaches, peppered with wind turbines constantly feed me with a wealth of inspiration.”
“I continue to be captivated by the sky. Its colour, texture and movement are my biggest influences .”

Paintings evolve and emerge in response to the landscape. Each painting tells a story, capturing a moment in time, each mark, drip and smudge add to the works narrative.
Drawing inspiration from my local environment, I work intuitively, building up and layering paint, often scraping back to expose hints or memories of previous marks. I enjoy the depth subtle washes of colour provide, adding to the history of the canvas and reflecting our ever-changing landscape.”
